Just added the Affordable Art Fair exhibition to my site. Description below. More images here.
"I was honored to be selected as a featured artist for the fall 2013 edition of The Affordable Art Fair in NYC. With the support of the Art Dossier, I designed the opening night photo booth, created a new edition of my Art is All Over print on 24-inch white aluminum circles exclusively for the fair, and displayed twelve cut paper and silkscreen pieces from a new body of work that had been over a year in the making. I also lead an artist guided tour of the fair focusing on "working artists" who, like myself, utilize methods and skills beyond the studio practice of the traditional "exhibiting artist" in order to sustain a living as a career artist in the modern economy and marketplace."
Playing with some new ideas in the studio today. Here is a detail of a new work for The Economy, a bi-monthly publication that release one poem, one prose writing and one artist’s work each issue. Coming to your screen Feb 1st.
It’s finally here! This weekend is the Affordable Art Fair in NYC. I am one of the fair’s featured artist for this year, including an exclusive editioned work on their under $500 wall, the design for the opening night photobooth, and a bunch of new collage work, right at the very front entrance of the building. Swing by if you are in town. Also, check out my “Who’s Who" interview on their blog.
Thanks to The Art Dossier for bringing me out again this year. I can’t say enough good things about these ladies. Look them up and check them out!
