Here is a sneak peek at the work I have showing at the Chicago Design Museum. Re/View, an exhibition themed around optical illusion opens June 1st.
Another interview up, this time on one of my all-time favorite blogs, It’s Nice That, out of London. And along with it, a giveaway by Quarterly Co and Uprise Art. Very exciting to have a lot of eye on my work outside of the U.S. lately. Here’s hoping that it translates into some international travel and exhibition opportunities.
P.S. The logo above is by another one of my favorites, Print Liberation.
The branding I did for good pal Adi Goodrich went live the other day. What a talented young lady, right? Holy cow. A little inside scoop, the squiggly line with the dot above it is her signature. So yeah, she made it pretty easy.
Got a new interview up at Colectivo Futuro. Some good questions in there. Check it out.
Two brand new smaller works now available on Uprise Art. Titles, top to bottom: Ceramic, Leaves & Outer Space and A Los Angeles Sunset on a Minnesota Day.
Doodling for some potential collaborations coming up with Quiet Life and Poketo. Stay tuned. Hopefully more is to come.
If you have been looking for an excuse to subscribe to a contributor of Quarterly Co, look no further! I will be feature in the first of four mailings curated by Uprise Art’s Tze Chun. This subscription is a pretty unique opportunity as it is the first to include original artwork in each of the four packages. There are only a few days left to subscribe and quantities are super limited so get yours now (ends Friday, April 12th).
Working on patterns at Struggle Inc today for Quiksilver’s 2015 Snow line. Here is a screenshot of a glitch that happened during a click-and-drag in illustrator that I thought was interesting. Add this to the list of concept pieces for an upcoming show.
Okay, back to work!
The Post Family just got back from Pratt Institute in NYC, bringing back with us a bunch of inspiration and some really fond memories. See what our lecture and subsequent workshop was all about on the Permanence workshop blog.
