New color and composition study available on location at Post27.

Another illustration for Glasses Glasses. This time for their seventh issue themed Nuts and Bolts. See the story that corresponds in the Essays section of the mag called The Story of Hair.

After Michael Freimuth left the fine city of Chicago for NYC, I picked up his roll as Art Director of Proximity Magazine. Of course I couldn’t have done it without the help of contributing designers Margot Harrington and Rod Hunting. For a copy of the newest issue go to any Barnes and Noble across the U.S. or ask your local bookstore if they carry it. If they don’t, tell them to get it!

I curated a show at the infamous warehouse gallery known as Co-Prosperity Sphere here in Chicago’s Bridgeport area. I made the mistake of not only curating the show but also creating new work! Who am I kidding… there is no way anyone can have enough time to make some work, curate, and promote a show simultaneously. Somehow I made it work. The show turned out pretty stellar. Pictured above are the show flier and grocery store installation which were both done in collaboration with the very talented Adrianne Goodrich. Also my hand painted five-by-eight foot Get It Together beer caddy for the front window. Check out more photos as well as the press release and a short video about the show at getittogethershow.com.

Here is some work from my project with Ogilvy and Mather for their pitch to Sharpie Markers. During the project I was lucky enough to work along site Eric Ellis, Delicious Design League, Rod Hunting and the rest of the Illustration Corporation crew.
